I bought these along with a $20 pair of Radians Terminators (also from amazon). The headband could become uncomfortable if you were wearing them for more than 15 minutes straight, but for the price I expected much worse. The radians supposedly have a NRR of 29, but these Milwaukee muffs seem to seal a lot tighter on my head. The Milwaukee Muffs are not nearly as comfortable. I would recommend these over the more expensive Radians model if you are looking to use them for something like shooting where you will be wearing them intermittently. I would also strongly recommend them as a spare pair.
I didn't expect a lot for the price, but a few months ago I purchased a pair of Peltor H10A muffs for just about $10.00 more, and boy were they worth it. These Milwaukee muffs are cheap things. They're much better made, better looking, more comfortable, and reduce noise levels more. I bought a pair about a year ago, but they turned brittle and were never very comfortable. I also found they aren't very good - they are okay. Now I really regret the time I spent with Milwaukee muffs. They're just not worth it.
I bought these ear muffs for my classroom to help the kids concentrate around distracting noises. I have had noise-canceling ear phones before but they didn't work as well as these and the kids love using them.
No more, no less. Gave the first 2 away to people who needed them. Bought 4 pair total so far. They do fold up nicely though. They're so cheap you can do so without feeling bad. They do what they're supposed to do. You won't have these for years but at just under six bucks, you can afford to replace them every year. I didn't have to adjust the headband since they were a perfect fit for me out of the box.
The muffs themselves fold up nicely for storage. These are pretty decent ear muffs. The only complaint I would have is the exposed foam on the interior of the cups - which could have been covered, but this is a very small detail and in now way impacts their usefulness. I got them on Ebay for very little cash and they were definitely worth it. I got 28 decibel protection for less than the price of the very cheapest ones I saw at stores (some with 19db protection). Great Buy. Low price and good quality.
